Artinis Medical Systems is a young Dutch innovative company working in the field of medical research and quality assurance. We produce gold standard x-ray phantoms for quality control in radiology and mammography. We also manufacture the Oxymon, a non invasive optical imaging device to monitor oxygen supply in living tissue, and the PortaMon, our portable and wireless NIRS device.

We aim to provide our clients worldwide with superior fit-for-purpose solutions, R&D support, comprehensive training and effective after-sales support. We can do so based upon our extensive knowledge of the field and the close co-operation with expert groups in scientific institutions. For our products we are independent and are therefore able to choose the best components available on the market.

  Our best know product in this field is the OXYMON, a device to measure non-invasively the oxygenation of living tissue, like brain or muscle. Because of the 'plug-and-play' nature of the instrument you can start with a 1 channel instrument and end with a multi-channel optical imager! Our other product is the PortaMon, a wireless and portable NIRS device.   Quality assurance in the field of Radiology is of the utmost importance for both the safety of the patient and the laboratory worker. In close co-operation with the Dutch National Expert and Training Centre for Breast Cancer Screening we provide various types of phantoms for different situations, phantoms which are now considered to be the gold standard in quality control.
