Introduction
This phantom is developed according to the German PAS 1054 guidelines especially developed for Digital Mammography. It contains various elements. A complete description in the German language can be found here.
Functionality
- Especially developed for Digital Mammography
- Basis phantom (40 mm) with Aluminium step wedge (14 steps from 0—5,2 mm)
- Structure plate (6 mm) with rotatable lead line resolution test pattern (5, 6, 7, 8 und 10 Lp/mm) and saving for the different inserts
- Optional insert for Acceptance testing with 5 times 2 Golddiscs
- Insert for Constancy testing (Conform ACR phantom)
- Insert of PMMA with quadratic Marking
- Insert High Contrast (50% covered with steel plate)
- Insert for Contrast Noise ratio (covered with 0,1 mm Alu)
- 4 rows of metal balls for check of missed tissue at chest wall side
- Four attenuation plates (2 x 10 mm, 2 x 20 mm) and more attenuation plates possible
