The app on the right shows a test recording with graphical data for the upper and lower arms, with specific readings of 68 and 63 respectively, and a timer at 1 minute and 43 seconds.

Use the app on any Android or iOS device

The Artinis mobile app simplified the (f)NIRS data acquisition process. It’s available to download on Android and iOS, free of charge. It comes with a simple yet modern design and is optimized for mobile use. The app can be downloaded for your phone and tablet. Using Bluetooth connection, it enables convenient mobile recordings of NIRS data during any kind of experiment, and in any kind of setting in the lab and the field.

Easily record, view and export (f)NIRS data

The Artinis app can record relative concentration changes in oxygenated and deoxygenated hemoglobin, as well as the absolute measure of the Tissue Saturation Index (TSI). Events can easily be inserted during a measurement to mark important time points of experiments. After the recording, the data can be viewed and exported to OxySoft version 4.2 and higher for further processing and analysis.

Measure brain and/or muscle oxygenation with PortaLite MKII

The Artinis app is compatible with the PortaLite MKII and hence can be used for measurements of tissue oxygenation in the muscle and/or brain. The app can record data from up to 4 sensors at the same time, enabling simultaneous measurements of different regions, or subjects.
