Introduction Course to EEG
As the use of Electroencephalography (EEG) continues to grow each year, we are excited to offer our expertise to ensure that everyone can use this equipment to its full potential. In light of this, we have developed a one-day introductory course on EEG that is open to anyone interested in this technology, including students, postgraduates, researchers, new users, and other professionals. All EEG (and (f)NIRS) enthusiasts are welcome!

LOCATION & SCHEDULEThis introduction course will be held on Friday, 14th of November 2025 at the headquarters of Artinis Medical Systems in Elst, The Netherlands.
PROGRAMThe EEG introduction course will cover:
Theoretical background
EEG applications in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, and more
Applicable experimental setup and analysis methods
Practical hands-on session: Put the acquired theoretical knowledge into practice and perform different EEG experiments from set-up to simple data analysis
PRACTICAL INFORMATIONAttendance to the course is free of charge for all participants.
Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided, as well as a typical Dutch lunch.
This EEG introduction course has limited spots for 20 participants. Therefore, we operate on a ‘first come, first served’ policy.
Please let us know if you are registered but are not able to join anymore, so we can allow another participant to join.

What does it cost and how can I pay?
This EEG introduction course is free to attend.
Is this an online course?
This time, the EEG introduction course will be held in person at our headquarters in Elst, The Netherlands.
What do I need to prepare?
Having a laptop and notebook will make the introduction course a better experience. Of course, if you have any questions, it helps to write them down beforehand so they become better defined and you won’t forget to ask them.
What is the difference between the EEG Introduction Course and ARTscientific?
The EEG introduction course is meant to learn more about the theory and practice of EEG. ARTScientific is longer and focuses more on exchange with other (f)NIRS experienced scientists.
Please note that on the previous day, November 13th, 2025, we will be hosting a complimentary introductory course at our office, designed to provide a foundational understanding of mNIRS & HD-EMG. Feel free to register and attend both.
